The Homeless in Southend-on-Sea
At Highlands Methodist Church, we, alongside other churches in the town, combat homelessness and support the homeless. We continue to work to support the destitute in a number of ways, through collections of food for Storehouse, HARP, supporting the running of the emergency Night Shelter at Whittingham Avenue Methodist Church and fundraising for other charities, providing care to those in need. If you feel able to offer support in any small way, be you a church goer, neighbour, facility user, visitor, supporter, or concerned citizen, please feel free to come along and get stuck in.
